A ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ Revival?
The Slayer is back! More than 20 years after Buffy the Vampire Slayer wrapped its seven-season run, a new chapter in the Buffyverse is reportedly in the works.
Buffy’s Return to TV
According to sources, Hulu is nearing a pilot order for a Buffy follow-up series. Even more exciting? Sarah Michelle Gellar is expected to return as Buffy Summers!
Other original cast members may also reprise their roles, though it’s unclear who will be involved just yet.
What’s the Plan for the New Series?
If the pilot is picked up, this would be the third official entry in the franchise:
🧛♀️ Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-2003) – 5 seasons on WB, 2 seasons on UPN
🦇 Angel (1999-2004) – 5 seasons on WB
📺 New Hulu series (TBD) – Potential new chapter in the Buffyverse
The original Buffy was based on the 1992 film of the same name, but the TV show became a cult classic, redefining supernatural storytelling on television.
