Carrie Underwood and Village People to Hit the Stage at Trump’s Inauguration Events
In a blend of country music royalty and disco nostalgia, Carrie Underwood and the Village People are set to perform at Donald Trump’s upcoming inauguration events.
The ceremonies, taking place next week, will feature performances designed to celebrate the occasion with a mix of patriotic tunes and throwback anthems.

Carrie Underwood Takes the Spotlight
Country music superstar Carrie Underwood, best known for her breakout on American Idol, is scheduled to perform “America the Beautiful” just before Trump takes the oath of office at the U.S. Capitol on January 20.
In a statement, Underwood expressed her excitement about being part of the historic event:
“I love our country and am honoured to have been asked to sing at the Inauguration and to be a small part of this historic event,” she said. “I am humbled to answer the call at a time when we must all come together in the spirit of unity and looking to the future.”
The Village People Bring the Disco Vibes
The 1970s legends Village People, famous for their campy costumes and infectious dance-pop hits, are also set to perform at two inaugural events. Known for tracks like “Y.M.C.A.” and “Macho Man,” their music has become an unexpected staple of Trump’s rallies in recent years.
Their performance will include an appearance at one of Trump’s inaugural balls, as well as a rally in Washington the day before he’s sworn in.
