CEREAL IS FINALLY GETTING RESEALABLE BAGS 🥣

We put a man on the moon. We invented smartphones. We created cars that can basically drive themselves.
And yet, for more than 160 years, we've been opening cereal bags by violently ripping them down the side and hoping for the best.
Well, technology has finally caught up.
Cheerios has teamed up with Ziploc to create a resealable cereal bag called the PantrySeal.

The bag can be opened partially to create a pouring spout, then sealed back up inside the box to keep your cereal fresher.
FINALLY. No more rolling the bag down eight times. No more clothespins.
No more transferring your Cheerios into a decorative container because you briefly thought you were the kind of woman who organizes her pantry.
A survey found 90% of people already use some kind of homemade trick to keep cereal fresh.

Which means General Mills looked at something we've all been struggling with for generations and finally said: “Guys... what if we put a ZIPPER on it?”
The new bags will initially appear in Cheerios and Honey Nut Cheerios, starting online before expanding into stores.
Honestly, it's about time.
Now cereal companies just need to solve the other major problem. Why does opening the bag sometimes create a side hole that launches Cheerios directly into the box?
