Courteney Cox Stopped Getting Cosmetic Procedures

The ‘Friends’ star is opening up about her history with cosmetic procedures.  She says that she chased youth a little too hard and it caught up with her!

The star explained that it took her a long time to come to terms with the aging process, and used procedures like fillers as a way to cope.

“There was a time when you go, ‘Oh, I’m changing. I’m looking older.’ And I tried to chase that (youthfulness) for years,” she said to the UK outlet, The Times. “And I didn’t realize that, oh s---, I’m actually looking really strange with injections and doing stuff to my face that I would never do now.”

She said that she realized that perhaps it was too much when people started talking about it.

So that year, Cox had all her fillers dissolved. “But Hollywood, this business, makes it harder,” she said at the time. “I grew up thinking that appearance was the most important thing. That’s kind of sad because it got me in trouble. I was trying so hard to keep up, and I actually made things worse.”

Nevertheless, Cox told the Times that the scrutiny over appearance that women face still concerns her, and she continues to try all kinds of beauty products. “I will try anything,” she confessed.

Cox also says she worries about the pressures her 17-year-old daughter, Coco will face too.
