Mick Jagger is preparing for fatherhood at the age of 72 – his girlfriend Melanie Hamrick is reportedly pregnant.
The American ballet dancer who is 29, has been dating the Rolling Stones frontman for the past two years, and now sources tell U.K. newspaper The Sun she is about three months pregnant with their first child together.
The insider says the couple is “surprised and happy” for the impending arrival, adding Mick isn’t “fazed” by the baby news, even though the little one will be his eighth child.

Her rep reassures E! News that the singer, who is currently in France as part of her European leg of the Anti World Tour, is OK despite being in the area of the tragic incident, which has reportedly claimed the lives of at least 84 people and injured dozens more. The singer was slated to perform tonight at the Allianz Stadium in Nice, but her concert has since been canceled. Nice’s former mayor and city official, Christian Estrosi, tweeted that her show, along with other social events that were planned to occur in the city tomorrow night, will no longer happen.
