MTV Video Award highlights!

MTV Video Music Awards happened last night from New York…. It was a night of Kanye, Rihanna, Beyonce & Britney- Just to name a few….Beyonce owned the night winning the top prize, Video of the year! Beyonce is now the music awarded artist in VMA history with 23! Kanye went on a rant- Painful to watch prior to him introducing his new “Art” to the world- After watching it- Kleenex stocks went through the roof….

Rihanna won this year’s Vanguard award…But the biggest moment for Rihanna came when Drake — in a tuxedo — presented the award to his former girlfriend. He said he met Rihanna in 2005 on the set of her first music video for “Pon De Replay.”

Mariah Carey’s estranged sister has been arrested and charged with solicitation in New York.

Alison Carey, a former prostitute who is HIV positive, reportedly returned to her old ways on Friday, when she was busted… Authorities received a tip off about the sex ads, which referenced her superstar sister’s hit song Fantasy, and launched an investigation, which resulted in the sting.  Mariah has yet to comment on her sibling’s arrest. She has been estranged from Alison and their brother Morgan for some time, and didn’t respond earlier this year when they launched a desperate appeal for the singer to reach out, amid claims Alison was dying.

Dee Snider has transformed Twisted Sister’s 80s anthem “We’re Not Gonna Take It” into an emotional piano ballad to help raise awareness for Criss Angel’s HELP (Heal Every Life Possible) charity.

Childhood cancer receives only 4% of U.S. federal funding for research and is the number one cause of death by disease among children. According to Angel’s website, “100% of your donation will go directly to this fight; NOT one cent will be deducted for ANY expenses, salaries, or overhead.”
