Oscars Telecast Saw Record Low Viewership
Even Eminem couldn't help bring people to their TV's...
Regardless of the star power at the 92nd Academy Awards, it wasn’t enough.
26.3 million viewers watched the 3.5 hour long show with no host. This is down from last year which saw an increase in viewers that also had no host but did have Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. 29.6 million watched their performance of “Shallow.”
Even with the decline in numbers, the Oscars still did better than this year’s Golden Globes and the Grammy’s.
