A late afternoon fire has destroyed the boyhood home of rock star Bret Michaels. The fire broke out at about 4 pm at the home in the first block of Hemlock Drive near Mechanicsburg. A family of seven inside the house made it out safely. Damage to the home and contents is estimated at $250,000. The American Red Cross is providing assistance to the family.
