RIDE Check In Barrie Yields Interesting Arrests
Not Your Typical Drunk Driving Arrests
Barrie Police held a RIDE check over the weekend, with some interesting results. First off, police say they came across a driver who was under a lifetime driving suspension, adding the 43-year-old man was supposed to be with a surety, and wasn’t. The Barrie man was charged appropriately. Following that, cops say a 24-year-old man driving a taxi came up to the spot check, rolled down the window, and let loose a huge cloud of marijuana smoke. He’s not driving a cab now.
