Science Says Vegans May Be Hotter Than Meat Eaters

Published September 8, 2026

Well, this is going to make the vegans absolutely unbearable.

Researchers say eating a plant-heavy diet may actually make you more attractive.

Apparently, fruits and vegetables aren't just good for your health. They may help improve your skin, your body composition and even the way you smell.

Yes. Salad is apparently sexy now.

Researchers point to compounds called carotenoids, which are the yellow, orange and red pigments found in foods like carrots, mangoes, cantaloupe and peppers.

Eating more of them has been linked in studies to healthier-looking skin colour.

So all this time we've been buying $80 face cream when apparently we should've just been eating a carrot.

But here's where things get interesting. A plant-heavy diet may also improve body odour.

Research involving men has found that eating more fruits and vegetables can be associated with more pleasant-smelling sweat compared with diets heavier in meat.

Even GARLIC may make your natural body odour more attractive.

Your breath? Absolutely devastating.

But apparently your armpits are giving off Bachelor contestant entering the hot tub.

Finally, plant-based diets are often associated with lower body weight and body fat, which researchers suggest could also play a role in perceived attractiveness.

So, according to science, eating more plants could potentially give you:

Better-looking skin.

Better-smelling sweat.

And improved body composition.

Meanwhile, bacon is sitting there going, "Yeah... but have you smelled me?"

And I'm sorry, but if I'm choosing between being slightly hotter and having cheese...

I have enjoyed being average-looking with all of you.
