Whoopi Goldberg is launching a medical marijuana company aimed at women. The Ghost star has teamed up with Maya Elisabeth to release a line of marijuana products called Whoopi & Maya to help women suffering from menstrual problems. This new pot product will come in the form of a rub that you’d apply to your lower stomach and lower back at work…. Whoopi is an outspoken proponent of legalizing marijuana in America and uses pot it to alleviate the symptoms of glaucoma. The products will be available for sale in California next month.

 

Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter has been sentenced to community service as punishment for his bar brawl in January. The singer and his friend were arrested outside a Key West, Florida bar after Carter allegedly grabbed a bouncer by the throat. They were both charged with misdemeanour battery, but prosecutors have agreed to drop the charge against Carter if he completes 25 hours of community service over the next six months under court supervision. Michael Jordan has retained his place at the top of Forbes’ list of the highest-paid retired athletes. The former basketball star, who stopped playing in 2003, earned $110m last year, according to the American business magazine, with his earnings mostly attributable to the success of Nike’s Jordan brand. Second on the list and up a place from 2015 is David Beckham, whose various endorsements earned $65m. Arnold Palmer (golf, $40m), Junior Bridgeman (basketball, $32m) and Jerry Richardson (American football, $30m) make up the top five.
