How You Could Be Stressing Your Dog Out

New Research Shows Hugging Could Stress Your Dog Out

According to a new study by Psychology Today, all those loving cuddles could be causing stress and anxiety in your furry friend.

Dog psychology expert, author and researcher Stanley Coren examined photos of dogs being hugged, and 80% looked uncomfortable. This body language reflects stress and anxiety. Other signs your dog could be stressed include hanging ears, half moon eyes, a raised head and lip licking.

Is that enough to stop you from hugging your pet?
