Deadly Weekend On Local Roads

Two people killed in separate crashes in the region at the weekend. One died in a crash late Saturday afternoon on Highway 11 South near Southwood Road, Gravenhurst. Five others were hurt. OPP say both vehicles became engulfed in flames.

Sunday afternoon, a vehicle left the road and crashed on Sadowa Road near Seabright. OPP say a passenger in the vehicle, 59 year old Glenn Cummins of Ramara Township was pronounced dead at the scene. A 58 year old Kawartha lakes woman has been charged with Impaired Driving and Drug Possession.
