Ontario Releases Climate Change Action Plan

Province Hopes To Significantly Reduce Greenhouse Gases

Queen’s Park is making strides to go greener, by releasing the Ontario Climate Change Action Plan. It’s said to provide people and businesses the tools and incentives needed to vamp up the use of clean technology. This includes financing for energy-efficient housing improvements, green licence plates for smart vehicles allowing them in HOV lanes without extra passengers, and putting more effort on sustainable forested lands. The Liberals have set a goal to cut greenhouse gas pollution levels by 80 per cent by 2050.
