Rick Mercer and Alan Doyle Need a New Home
They'd like to stay together, as well.
I’m talking about cats.

They are house trained, short haired cats on the East Coast. According to PetFinder, “Rick Mercer was rescued from Little Bay Islands, Newfoundland in December 2019. He met Alan Doyle when they came to our rescue in January and they instantly became best friends. ”
Rick Mercer wasn’t always called Rick Mercer. He was originally Mikey but the person who rescued him renamed him because “he is very vocal and hisses and acts tough but he is a total love bug and I got him to purr on Saturday.” As for the other? “The big grey and white boy was being called Codfish but I decided to name him Alan Doyle because he’s simply a big lovable dude!”

You can adopt the cats from Healing Animal SCARS – Sonya’s Cat & Animal Rescue Society in Dartmouth NS. The Rescuer says, ” These boys would do best in a home without children. They need someone willing to put the time into helping them learn how to trust. If you shower them with TLC and feed them from your fingers, they will soon be comfortable with you. ”
