The event is a great way to enjoy and embrace the Christmas Spirit. The pioneer heritage buildings will all be lit by lanterns. Visitors can take part in horse-drawn wagon rides and enjoy a warm beverage while they stroll through the grounds. There will also be crafts, music, food, and entertainment.

Admission is by donation and the event will be held on December 8 and 9 from 6 to 8:30 PM.

3. Christmas At Wye Marsh (Wye Marsh)

If you’re looking for something fun to do this holiday season (and all winter long), be sure to swing by Wye Marsh.

While you may have already seen it during the warmer months, it is something entirely new to see once the snow falls. While there you can enjoy their year-round attractions such as the over 25 km of trails, Swan Landing, and the Birds Of Prey Field. But you can also enjoy unique wintertime experiences.

This includes tracking wildlife footprints, hand-feeding chickadees, and watching winter birds as they flock to feeders. Once the snow falls you can also enjoy snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.

Throughout the months of December, January, and February, they also have fun events, such as:

  • The Christmas Bird Count 4 Kids
