How Sweet It IS When a Dream Comes true

Assam Hadhad owned a chocolate factory in Syria, with over 30 employees. Ruined by war, Assam immigrated here with little hope of being able to start a business. But the town of Antigonish, NS came together to make his dream come true. Volunteers helped build the tiny shed-turned-factory and bought his chocolates at the local market to get his business back on its feet.
